If you are prepared to work with the surgery you should obtain satisfaction. There are very busy times for making appointments, typically early on Monday mornings, when you'll be left on hold for a long time, so don't ring then, if you can help it. I seem to manage to get all the services and attention I require but you do have to be patient (no pun intended!) and fit yourself in with the system. Aggression towards receptionists doesn't help and is unnecessary. There are meetings where you can express your opinions and these are well conducted. The surgery welcomes constructive suggestions for improvement and I go along usually and contribute my two pennyworth.
Awful booking system, especially if you have a job
Literally the worst organized doctors surgery I have ever used. They use a completely chaotic booking system which means you often have to wait well over a week for an appointment or stay on the phone at 8am for over an hour to book the same day. Really poorIt has also taken them over two months to get my records from the previous doctors surgery (Brookside, which were superb) so they can't even tell me when asthma medicine that I require.Couple that with their rude doctors, they are an absolutely terrible practice
Sure it can take time to get through on the phone in the morning but appointments are usually available and both the doctors and nurses very approachable, caring and professional. We have been with the practice a while now and are very happy with the service including during some challenging times.
Have been using the practice for 30 years and they have always been so helpful and professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Yes sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get an appointment but I have always been seen quickly when I have really needed it. The new online booking is great and I use it all the time..Generally outstanding service by everyone in the practice.
